MANDELIC ACID 5% A gentle yet powerful AHA for all skin types and skin tones with exfoliating and brightening abilities due to increasing healthy cellular turnover. This effective ingredient has melanin-inhibiting abilities and blocks the production of melanin while lightening the appearance of surface pigmentation. This ingredient is also highly anti-inflammatory and helps to minimize the look of redness and irritation within the skin. It is also ideal for blemish-prone skin due to having anti-bacterial properties that keep breakouts at bay.

WESTERN FIELD DOCK Effective at minimizing skin pigmentation due to its ability to block tyrosinase, which is responsible for melanin synthesis. This ingredient is also both anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial helping to reduce the look of redness and minimize breakouts. It is also skin-nourishing and works to soften and condition the skin while minimizing unwanted skin discoloration. BEARBERRY Bearberries naturally contain a compound called Arbutin, which is known for disrupting the enzyme called tyrosinase that is responsible for producing melanin. This gives skin-lightening benefits and minimizes skin pigment. This ingredient is also a powerful antioxidant and helps to block environmental pollutants and free radicals from causing accelerated aging and skin damage. Bearberry also is anti inflammatory and minimizes irritation and the appearance of redness.

KOJIC ACID Kojic Acid limits skin pigmentation and is excellent at minimizing the appearance of scarring. This ingredient is a tyrosinase blocker and lightens surface pigment while evening out skin tone. HYALURONIC ACID One of the most widely known humectants, Hyaluronic Acid works to draw hydration into the skin. It is naturally occurring in the skin and with age it depletes.
