Lallemand bakers yeast is available in dry form and sold under the brand Instaferm. Resulting from Lallemand' s expertise, the Instaferm family of baking products presents numerous advantages over fresh yeast in many situations. As they are packaged airtight in protective atmosphere conditions, Instaferm products have a two-year shelf life (when unopened). As they are dehydrated, Instaferm products do not require refrigeration, making them much simpler to handle, store and transport. Furthermore, Instaferm products do not require dissolving before use. Simply mix with flour or add to dough during the first stage of mixing.
