Broad Spectrum SPF 50+

Thinkbaby and Thinksport sunscreen are highly effective, fall into the highest category for water resistance, and have a sensible SPF 50+ rating. A quick glance at your local drugstore shelf will show a growing number of chemical sunscreens with ultra-high SPFs of 70 or higher. An SPF higher than SPF 30 offers only minimal improvement in sun protection and provides no information about their ability to protect against both UVA and UVB rays. Instead, these ultra-high SPFs are inflated through the use of chemical UV absorbers. The FDA recently ruled that SPFs higher than 50 are not permitted. They have also ruled the terms "sweatproof" and "waterproof" to be false claims.
