The enteric-soluble peppermint capsules were found to be very
useful for the treatment of IBS in several clinical studies
double-blind. It is estimated that about 15% of the population experiences
symptoms of SCI, making it the most common intestinal problem.

One of the main conclusions drawn from the studies on ISS concerns
hypercontractility (excessive contraction) of the smooth muscle of the intestine. oil
of peppermint helps to effectively alleviate this hypercontractility,
relieving irritable bowel and colic. It also has
negligible on Candida albicans (a yeast often involved in cases
of SCI), and facilitates the excretion of various factors affecting the activity of
digestion.
