Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve inflammatory conditions of the digestive/gastrointestinal system. Herbal tea composed of medicinal plants traditionally used for deep cleansing of the liver. Help in case of hepatic overload – Ideal for a detox cure!
Recommended dose (Adults 18 years and over) :1 sachet, 2 to 3 times a day, as an infusion. Infuse 1 sachet in 1 cup of boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes. Take a few hours before or after taking medication or natural health products.
Medicinal ingredients :Each sachet contains: 150mg leaf of Arcto-staplylos uva-ursi (Bearberry); 150mg petal of Calendula officinalis (Marigold); 300mg leaf of Cynara cardunculus (Artichoke); 150mg Equisetum arvense (Horsetail) herb; 300mg Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice) root; 150mg Ribes nigrum (Cassis) leaf; 150mg Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) leaf; 150mg seed of Silybum marianum (Milk thistle).
Duration of use :Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond one week.
Precautions/Warnings :Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen; before use: if you have liver problems or gallstones.
Contraindications :Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or any other medication that may worsen the imbalance in electrolyte levels; if you suffer from hypokalemia, heart disease, high or
low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes or edema (swelling of the hands, face or feet); if you are taking products containing diuretics; in case of allergy to the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family; if you have a bile duct obstruction; if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Known adverse reactions :Hypersensitivity (eg allergy) may occur. If so, discontinue use. Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, heart rhythm disturbances and/or difficulty breathing.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if bag is not sealed.
