Earthwise is a southern California producer of high-quality spirulina products. They have the world’s largest spirulina farm in the Sonoran Desert of southeastern California far from highways, airports and cities. Their Spirulina is grown under controlled without the use of pesticides and herbicides and with an effort to be environmentally friendly.
They have a well-documented process with all of their certifications listed on their website. Lastly, according to their website, Earthrise is also the only company in continental USA that produces Spirulina with GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) status. Two thumps up!
As I was saying in ‘The Company’ section, the spirulina is grown in California. It’s a BIG plus for me that we know exactly where the spirulina is being grown.
This is a very high-quality product. It tastes as good as spirulina can taste and is delivered fresh in the US. Earthwise manages every aspect of the production from creation to packing to shipping so you know where it’s coming from.
This is an amazing spirulina product that I highly recommend. It taste delicious in comparision to some of the spirulinas produced in China and India. It does cost a lot, but if you make a daily smoothie, then I think it’s worth it to make sure you’re eating fresh spirulina.
